So we did this 30 in 30 challenge (being intimate 30x in 30days) and got more than 1/2 in BEFORE O.
I got my OPKs in 3 days before my spike, got pretty lines, and I ovulated beautifully, right on time.
Perfect charting spike said I O'd and my temp stayed up...
4 days ago I started spotting. On/Off. Test. On/Off. Test.
Today at about 1 am I started AF in full.
I guess 40 kazillion sperm can't get me pregnant...
So, Mr. Dreamersaur wants to order Zumba for me since I'm loving it from the infomercials. I love to dance, so it's right up my alley. If I can't get pregnant I'll just get skinny! Still TTC for sure... just focusing on me for a change.

The TTC Swag
Trying to conceive is expensive.

At least it is if you are a control freak (just a little bit!) like me and must know what is going on at all times. Each month something new has been added to the regime.
The first month was the digital thermometer. I bought this months ago, but I believe it was 12 euro. I’ve joined Fertility Friend to track the temps, but so far I have resisted on splurging for the VIP membership.
Next up was the ovulation predictor kits. I know they have some of the simple strips which are cheaper, but after looking at samples of these online, I have a really hard time reading the lines. In an effort to take the guess work out of it, I buy the digital ones that produce a little smiley face. The amount of joy I get out of seeing that smiley face is ridiculous. I can’t imagine how I’ll feel if I get a positive pregnancy test! Unfortunately, the smiley face comes at a price. A box of 7 is 32 euro. Ouch.
This month we are adding Conceive Plus into the mix. Apparently this is the same thing as Pre-Seed, which is (from what I’ve found) only available online here in Ireland. The nice thing about the Conceive Plus is that it’s just a tube; it’s not separate application packets like the Pre-Seed. It will be nice if we get more than six uses out of the tube. The price is about the same – just under 18 euro. Double ouch.
Then of course are the pregnancy tests. I TRY to hold off as long as I can, but POAS is really addictive! I’ve also discovered that nothing will start your period faster than POAS. Depending on the brand, two tests run about 15 euro.
And of course there are the vitamins. I take EPO (pre-ovulation), B6, B complex, and folic acid. The price of these aren’t TOO bad with the EPO being the most expensive. The pharmacy does a 3 for 2 deal which is great.
All in all, this means I spend on average 50 euro a month on all this stuff. Yikes! It wouldn’t be so bad, but TTC swag isn’t nearly as cute as baby swag. I’d rather be buying baby swag!

Cycle #11 TTC#3 CD9 -OPK
This post title feels like a stock market ticker. Totally unreadable unless you're party of the elite group of stockholders. But since you're at Pregosaur, you are :)
So yep. CD9.Negatove OPK. No shock. I do however have a light line already:
I took 50mg Clomid Cd5-9 this month hoping for a good O with some nice mature follicles. So I'm really hoping that I get a nice strong O on the left side so my lonely tube brings that beautiful eggie to meet it's future.
Come on baby... I'm waiting for you.

Well that nightmare is over... almost
I am CD15 today and I believe I have officially O'd... I think. LOL! FF hasn't agreed yet, but I'm pretty sure.
I have taken my supplements. I have used Pre-seed. I have BD till I'm blue in the face.. and I plan on getting one round in tonight for good measure.
I have dipped a "few" sticks.. and gotten several positive including some smiley faces on digis...

Now I get to sit around and wait on FF to catch up with me and debate on when to test... I'm a POAS addict, so You can bet it won't be long LOL!

I am a "cup is half full" kind of girl
So...I think I actually ovulated on a normal day this month. FF hasn't registered it yet, but my temperature spiked on day 18, which means I most likely O'd on day 17. That is pretty normal for me, so I'm thankful that my body is adjusting to being on clomid. After Oing on day 22 last month, I didn't know what to expect! I actually had a promising OPK on day 17 as well, so DH and I were sure to BD that night. This is the first time I've actually had an OPK that looked positive...so I was encouraged.
I'm feeling slightly different this month about ttc. I'm feeling a bit more at peace now and I think I'm okay with having a "whatever happens, happens" attitude. I'm so blessed by my little girl and very occupied with her, so it keeps my mind off having another one most of the time. Now I'm focusing on being content with my life as it is. If another little one finally comes along I will be overjoyed, but not having that happen yet doesn't take away from the joy I experience daily. Optimism is a great tool to have in your bag while ttc. I tell ya...
I'm also getting ready to embark on another semi-adventure that may be a little difficult considering what I've been experiencing with ttc. My sister-in-law is getting ready to have her 3rd child, (which I'll admit has been pretty difficult for me in and of itself) and I have offered to assist her in the birthing process. We have similar philosophies on labor and delivery and she feels she needs an advocate to help her. Her first two experiences were pretty standard; laying on her back, hooked up to machines and getting the epidural. She wants this experience to be different, so I agreed to assist her in a more natural birth. The catch is that the hospital wants to hook her up to a fetal monitor as soon as she arrives, which would require her to be laying on her back. Her solution is to wait until she's really in full blown labor and getting ready to have the baby before she checks into the hospital. It's all very unpredictable, so hopefully I can just be a voice of support and a hand to hold through the whole process.
At least I'll have something interesting to blog about come mid-March.
And maybe, just maybe sometime soon I'll have equally interesting news from my own life to report. I can always hope.

Question for everyone
Since my last post I have been feeling some twinges here and there and normally I can pinpoint the moment I have ovulated but I have yet to feel that moment. Again I was a little thrown off because my OPK turned positive on day 21 instead of day 40 something. So today I thought I should take another OPK test to see what it said. This is what I saw.

It still looks positive 3 days later. This line is darker than other first but I have taken these tests before and haven't seen a line on them at all so I know its not a defect. That isn't normal is it? I took the first OPK on Tuesday and saw this.
Has anybody ever heard of this before? I am dumbfounded.

What is going on?
Today was a weird but great day. It started off with me waking up at 5:50 am with the worse gas pains I have ever felt. I spent the next hour in the bathroom. I knew you wanted to know that but I wanted to show you how my morning started off crappy. I barely slept and the hubby and I were supposed to wake up early and go grocery shopping and then see Legion before we both had to work today. When 10:30 rolled around I was not in the mood to open my eyes, especially since I haven't really been sleeping. Finally at 11:30 Mr. Relaxasaur said we can still make it if we leave soon. I wasn't excited but I got my butt out of bed and threw on jeans and a hoodie because I knew he really wanted to go.

While sitting in the theater I had a "wet" feeling down there followed by a few cramps near my ovaries. I thought there is no way I am near ovulation. Today marks day 21 of my cycle I still have about 31 more days before I am supposed to ovulate. So I brush off the feeling. When we got home I wanted to jump in the shower but the idea of taking an ovualtion test keep creeping up on me. I still have 75 left so I thought whats the big deal if I waste one. So I dip the stick and lay it down while I jump in the shower. At this point Mr. Relaxasaur made his way upstairs and I asked him to show me the test so I could see if there were two lines. This is what I saw.
I couldn't believe my eyes. WTF? It's day 21. So immediately I jump out of the shower and we baby danced. It was great and wonderful and for the first time we were full of hope. On a side note I joined the pledge to complete 101 tasks in 1001 days and one of my tasks was to make a list of 101 things I love about Mr. R. So as we layed there I read the list out loud and by the end we both had tears in our eyes. So what started off as a crappy day ended up being one of my favorites thus far. The test line isn't as dark as the control line but its close which means I may still have one or more days of baby dancing left.
Please wish us luck!

Getting out the "big guns" for Cycle 5
posted by

After 6 days of disappointing spotting, AF decided to arrive after 52 days! At first, I was excited. Finally I could get on with TTC and stop wondering (for at least a couple of weeks) what was going on with my body. Then, I felt kind of like this:

Perhaps because AF had been away for a while, it was not a very pleasant visit.
This is Cycle #5 of TTC since my miscarriage. So, now we are getting out the "big guns".
I started using the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor this week. I was very excited about this, much like Lillysaur has mentioned in her recent post. I was also in a hurry to get my monitor so I could begin using it ASAP. Since my previous cycle had been 21 days, I hoped the monitor would get to me in time to start using it for my next cycle. Ironically, the monitor sat here for several weeks while I waited for AF!
Using the CBEFM feels like a new beginning for me. It is my understanding that the monitor tracks 2 hormones, both estrogen and LH, instead of just LH like the traditional OPK tests. This could give me the heads up on up to 6 fertile days per cycle as opposed to 2 with the OPK strips. Well, that is the theory anyway. I'm not sure what my body is actually doing or not doing. I hope the CBEFM will help to clarify this for us. I feel like I have access to more information about my cycle now. This gives me renewed hope that we really can conceive again.
Since I am not sure if I am really ovulating, I have gotten out another "big gun":
I was against taking my BBT for the longest time. I now think that this information is too valuable to ignore any longer. So, my alarm is set for 5:45 a.m. each day to do this deed. I've only done this for 2 days now so it isn't too bad yet. I am also toying with the idea of setting up a Fertility Friend account. It seems like this is another "big gun" in the TTC arsenal that has helped a lot of women conceive.
I am drinking a cup of green tea and pomegranate juice every day faithfully. I am considering purchasing some PreSeed in case Mr. Pharmasaur and I need a little help with the BD process. And of course, BDing needs to be a very regular activity in the next week or two!
If I do appear to be ovulating, I will stock up on pineapples and munch on those daily. Luckily, I love pineapple!
I have no idea how long this cycle will be. My longest cycle recently was 52 days and my shortest cycle was 21 days. This is why I am pulling out all the "big guns" for TTC on Cycle #5.
Does anyone else have any other tried and true TTC suggestions they'd like to share? I'm all ears!

RE Appointment
Happy Holidays to all! I just wanted to send a quick update of my reproductive endocrinologist (RE) appointment I had today. I went in and had my consultation and I like everyone who works there. Dr F sat down with me and talked about my history and what is currently happening (my long cycles). They took blood from me to find out if I ovulated (more on that later) and I will get the results on Monday. They also will let me know if I have to pick up a prescription to make my period come so I can get more testing because my period was just brown spotting and they want to see full flow.
They want me to come in on my 3rd day of my cycle to get more blood work and then sometime on cycle day 6-10 for a saline ultrasound which involves a catheter so that sounds a little scary. Dr. F also went over my husbands sperm analysis. She explained that teratospermia means sperm are deformed which I knew. She said that 100% of the sperm were deformed but that could just be the sample they took from and it doesn't mean that we cannot conceive on our own but 70% of them are mobile so that is good. She wants Josh to bring a new sample in as well as get a blood test for HIV, hepatitis, and syphilis. She did say that she has seen samples in men that are very similar to Mr. Relaxasaur and they have conceived on their own. So right now we are keeping hope.

As to my ovulation I was due to ovulate on or around New Years but Monday I felt a few pains near my left ovary they didn't last long so I brushed them off because it was too early and I didn't see any signs pointing to ovulation. Then on Tuesday I had a crazy amount of egg white cervical mucus and more ovulation pains. Of course I was already at work and didn't get home until 2 am after the hubby was already sleeping. I did take an OPK just to know and it was positive. Awesome. We also had not had sex since Thursday because we didn't see each other this past weekend. I took another test Wednesday morning just to be sure and yep it turned positive again. I had to work that day and didn't get home until 11 that night and we baby danced because you never know and also because it had been a while. This is a good thing and a bad thing. Good because I ovulated a week to 10 days earlier so my cycle is getting shorter, but bad because we had not been intimate on my supposed fertile days. Oh well there is always February.
I will post my results when I find out if in fact I have been ovulating or not.
Again Happy Holidays to all!!!!!!!!!

When will Aunt Flo come to visit?

I really don't have much of an idea!
Originally, on this cycle #4, I wasn't going to use any OPKs. Shortly after AF ended last time, I thought I had some signals of ovulation. So I did do a few OPK tests this month. And I think(hope!) I ovulated around CD9 or 10. The test line got the darkest I've ever seen it on CD9 and then went back to a faint line the next day. However, it was not equal to or darker than the control line. I have seen several women reporting online that their tests don't get that dark either. I have my fingers crossed that I actually did ovulate this cycle. I think that would be the first time since my miscarriage in July.
I'm not sure how long my luteal phase is though. Which means AF could really come anytime between tomorrow and Christmas Day. My last 3 cycles were 27, 32 and 21 days long. TTC is such a waiting game isn't it?

Cycle #3 - Update 2

Today is CD17 and I have not yet detected an LH surge. If my cycle is long, like the last one, then it is entirely possible that it is still coming. I'm not feeling like I'm ovulating or about to ovulate though. I used to be able to tell from ovulation cramping and cervical mucus. Now, I have no idea. Perhaps my body is still adjusting after my miscarriage in July. I am committed to using the OPKs until at least CD20. Hopefully by then, my body will give me some clues about what is happening.

I just got back from my new family doctor's office. I had my yearly physical and I was surprised at my reaction today. When I saw the examining table and paper gown, I wanted to burst into tears. Then I realized the last time I was on an examining table, in a paper gown, I was going through my miscarriage and follow up appointment. I guess these emotional flashbacks will continue for some time.
However, today was different. I liked this new doctor and I felt comfortable with her. I felt that she really listened to me and took time to explain what she was doing. This support is a big contrast to how I felt with my previous cold, impersonal family doctor. I am really glad that I made the switch.
I expressed concern about my irregular cycles. She did some testing for thyroid hormones, FSH, LH and Prolactin. She also did the pap test and tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea. When I expressed my concerns about pelvic inflammatory disease (due to my previous use of an IUD), she assured me that I would have symptoms with that infection. That eased my mind a bit. She also encouraged me to continue with my regular dental appointments and eye examinations, which I am going to follow-up with soon. I feel like she really cares about my health.

All of these tests and doctors visits leads me to gratitude that my health care is covered (for the most part) here in Ontario. I hope that this path leads to our goal of a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby.

My new family doctor is going to gather all the test results and then refer me to a gynecologist. The gynecologist can further investigate to determine if there are any medical reasons for my irregular cycles. In addition, she can also look for any possible barriers to conception.

Cycle #3 - Update 1

Firstly, my apologies for not blogging for so long. I have been struggling with negativity and frustration over my TTC process. I didn't feel that I had much to contribute to this blog.
Cycle #2 (since my miscarriage) was a difficult one for me. It was 32 days long as opposed to 27 days for Cycle #1. I had about 5 days of spotting at the end of the cycle before AF finally decided to arrive. Then I had a few days of heavy to moderate flow and AF was gone. A few days later, I had more spotting for a couple of days. Even today, CD13, I had a bit of spotting. I am pretty confused by all of the strange things happening with my body right now.
I have started using the OPKs I got off the Internet. I have the strips for home use and the midstream tests for use at work. I am testing at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily. I started testing on CD10 as recommended by the instructions for the tests. So far, I have only had very faint LH lines. I am waiting to see if I can detect a surge this cycle. I am not even sure if I am ovulating.
I am still dealing with my grief over my miscarriage. I gave my seat on the subway to a pregnant woman the other day. I had to fight back tears while I was standing there - wishing it was me who was pregnant. It was amazing how many people sitting closer to her did not offer their seat.
I am reading a few books about recovery after miscarriage which I find helpful. They remind me that I am not alone with these painful feelings. After the tears flow, I usually experience some healing. I am trying my best to focus on the future while still honoring the past without dwelling on it.
During my last two cycles, I was very hopeful that I would conceive again. This cycle I feel differently. I am trying not to get my hopes up. I don't want to be disappointed again. I know we haven't been trying for very long - since May 2009. The fact that we conceived on our first try is probably contributing to my impatience now. Part of me wonders if that was our only chance. Mr. Pharmasaur turned 40 this weekend and in 2 weeks, I will also be 40. I can't shake the feeling that time is running out.
I have a book about meditation during conception to birth and beyond. I think this will help me to relax and improve my chances of conception. It is definitely worth a try!
I will continue using the OPKs in hopes of detecting an LH surge. Mr. Pharmasaur and I are still doing the "baby-dance" regularly in case the tests are incorrect or miss my surge. The result of our efforts is now up to a power beyond ourselves.

image sourceNo happy faces for me. I have done 11 digital ovulation predictor tests this cycle and they all have shown empty circles. It is pretty frustrating. So the possibilities are: I ovulated earlier than CD 8 or my ovulation surge is too low for the test to detect or my surge was too short for the test to detect or I didn't ovulate at all. I know as much as I did before doing these tests! Hmmph. Today is CD 18 and AF is due next Monday on CD 25.
I still have PMS symptoms and the metallic taste on and off every day. It appears that my PMS symptoms are now lasting for 2 weeks! I really hope my hormones settle down soon. I am assuming they are still out of whack from my miscarriage.
I got my package of 20 HPTs in the mail on Friday. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've already tried them out. BFN of course! It is too early to test.

Cycle #2 - Update 2

I think I'm right about at the top of that loop now and I really hate being upside down. TTC is such a roller coaster of emotions. I seem to be experiencing extreme highs and lows all at the same time.
I have been using my digital ovulation predictor tests every day at about 5:30 p.m. I have done 6 of them now and they all are negative. No smiley face for me yet! It is really disappointing. Kind of like getting a BFN every day. I am on CD14 today so I guess I still have a possibility of getting a positive for my LH surge. Today I'll use my last test stick in the box. It is a good thing I bought two boxes! I am seriously considering getting the test strips available on the Internet for next cycle. Their sensitivity is 20mIU/mL which is considerably lower than the 40mIU/mL of the digital tests. It would be nice to see something, anything, on the test!

I am still holding out some hope for the smiley face. Mr. Pharmasaur thinks that my LH surge may be below the digital test's sensitivity and that I have already ovulated. That is a possibility.
This brings me to some very confusing symptoms I've been getting over the past few days. Monday night I started getting a metallic taste in my mouth. It has been with me off and on ever since. Very strange. Yesterday and today I have noticed that my breasts have been swollen and sensitive. This doesn't normally happen for me on CD13 or 14. I had these symptoms before I got my BFP back in June. Logically, I think it is too soon for any pregnancy signs to show up. Maybe my mind and body are playing tricks with me? Well, only time will tell. I have told myself that I will not do a HPT until October 29th. I have 20 more tests coming in the mail soon. It is not going to be an easy 2 week wait!

Cycle #2 - Update 1

I have started to use the digital ovulation tests. They are very easy to use which is great although I find it a little hard not to pee for 4 hours in the afternoon. Next cycle, I may switch to first morning urine which might be easier. The tough part would be getting up early on the weekends to test!
So far, no positive happy face result for my LH surge. So, I will keep testing everyday and see what happens. I am trying to keep busy so I don't over think this process. Unfortunately, patience is not a virtue of mine. Mr. Pharmasaur and I are having sex every 2 days right now and we plan to step it up as soon as we get the signal from the test.
I was thinking about what to do if the OPKs don't help us during this cycle. I have this idea in my head that I must be pregnant before I turn 40. I have less than 2 months left to achieve this. When I spoke to the Ob-Gyn who I was seeing during my miscarriage, he said a few months on one side or the other of 40 won't really make a difference. Logically, I know this is true. But I can't help thinking about all of the statistics in the books and Internet research I have read that list higher risks of everything starting at 40. It is hard for me to ignore these warnings. On the other hand, there are some benefits of being a Mom over 40 as well.
So, I may get a fertility monitor for next cycle and try that. Mr. Pharmasaur and I are fortunate enough to be able to afford this option. If it really works, then our dreams may come true. I have seen positive feedback on the Internet about this one:

I hope that we won't need to pursue this option. Maybe this will be the month we conceive again? It would be so wonderful to get a BFP at the end of this cycle. But only time will tell.

Cycle 2 - "Action" Plan
posted by

I am now on Cycle Day 7. We've got our action plan for TTC ready to go.
Tomorrow, I start using the digital ovulation predictor tests. I plan to use them at around 5:30 p.m. each evening when I get home from work. My cycle is usually 25 days long and the instructions suggested starting on CD 8. I used to suspect that I ovulated around CD 9 due to changes in my cervical mucous and my increased libido. Now, I may actually find out if that is really true! The test sensitivity is 40 mIU/mL so if my surge doesn't get to that level, it will not be detected by the OPK. (Thanks to Bibliosaur for bringing that to my attention.) I think the biggest challenge for me while using the test will be not to pee for 4 hours beforehand. I tend to drink a lot of water!
Once I see this:
then that day and the next will be our best chances at conceiving. We plan on having sex every 2 to 3 days from now until about CD20 (or at least until I get my positive OPK.) I have seen some women posting their experience with having sex every 12 hours once they have a positive OPK. Several have them have ended up with a BFP. That could be worth a try!
I am superstitious about putting a pillow under my hips and staying lying down for about 20 minutes after TTC sex. It worked for us when we tried in May. I am hoping it works again.
So, we have a plan. Now the trick is to relax, keep it simple and take it one day at a time.

No more testing for this cycle

Aunt Flow returned yesterday. Unfortunately, for the last 10 days or so, her friend PMS was visiting.

SourceThis is my second period since my miscarriage. And the PMS has been the longest and most uncomfortable that I have ever experienced. The physical and emotional symptoms have been more severe. I am wondering if this will settle down eventually to what my PMS used to be like. I hope so.
So, obviously I don't need to do any more testing this cycle. I have 2 HPTs hiding in my bathroom cupboard for future use.
This is now the beginning of cycle #2 of trying since the miscarriage. I didn't really think we would be successful this time. We did get a BFP the first cycle we tried in May 2009. The chances of that happening again were so very slim but I still had a little bit of hope when AF was a few days late. We were travelling during this cycle and then I ended up with a nasty cold at the end of it. Better luck this time, I hope!
I realized today that 4 months have passed since we decided to TTC. I can't believe it. The time has flown by and so much has happened. But since Mr. Pharmasaur and I both turn 40 in November, I thought we should try something to speed up our conception process. So, we bought some helpers today.

I have never used OPKs before so I got the ones that looked the easiest to use. They are a bit pricey, but hey, if they work, then it will be worth it. So, in about a week or so, I'll be looking for smiley faces to tell me when my LH surge is. And then, let the fun begin!

Are you postive?
Yes, I´m positive I got a postive OPK today! whoot. Mr. Lillysaur and I have been timing it right, so I think we have a shot this month. I sure hope so.
My visit with the gynocologist on Monday went well. She took a good 15 minutes of her time or so to talk to me, which is unheard of in the patient/doctor world most of the time. Thank goodness I´m privately insured, because I´m sure that was a bit of extra incentive for her. Not that she wouldn´t otherwise take time for her patients.
We talked about my fears and how that might be affecting my fertility and future pregnancies, and we talked about my options. She seemed to understand without my saying so, that after TWO years of this, I´m ready for something to happen. She suggested that if I´m not back in her office knocked up in a couple of cycles that we should look at moving on to clomid to up the ante and some progesterone so thicken my lining and support implantation.
We talked about doing a lap, and she told me that she honestly would wait about 6 more months before moving on to that. She also told me she felt that a lap wouldn´t really tell us anything. I´m healthy and I´ve been pregnant several times. It´s still surgery, and there is still a risk that goes with it.
We talked about acupuncture and regulating my cycle. She offered to do three trial sessions for me to see how I like it and if it might be something for me. I went yesterday for my first one, and I have to say I think it did something. I don´t know what, but I felt very relaxed and very tired after it. I´m going back next week for the next session.
She asked me about my sports. Told me she thought I needed to get out more and do more sports, that that would help with the stress and help my body regulate itself. She even suggested a dog. Score. Mr. Lillysaur and I have been talking about this, and I´m glad she´s on my side! Maybe I can wear Mr. Lillysaur down slowly. He´s still convinced that as soon as we get a dog I´ll get knocked up and that a dog and a baby would be too much at one time. Sigh.
So for the moment Mr. Lillysaur and I are busy giving it our best, hoping things will shape up soon, and happy knowing that the gyno is on board with us, and ready to get that phone call as soon as I´m knocked up so she can make sure I don´t need anything.

Positive OPK?
So I tested with an OPK today because my temps started to rise again and it's definitely the darkest that I've seen so far, but I'm not sure if I would count it as a positive or not. What do you all think?

It kind of seems to be darker on the left side of the test line, and I've seen some places online that say it would be counted as a positive. Considering that all of the other tests were a lot lighter, I'm thinking that I should just go ahead and count it anyway. Honestly, I'm just ready to ovulate and get this cycle over with whether I end up KU or not!

Psychic Predictions
Source
My mom and I and a few other ladies went a saw a psychic. She says she can talk to your angels and guides. I don't think she read me very well. She said I would be ready to have children in a year (I am ready now) and she didn't say anything about the situation going on with my body. She told me my husband steals my energy and asked if I was happy with my marriage my response was something like are you kidding me I have one of the greatest most supportive husbands ever. She did touch on a few things but it was pretty much a waste of my money.
Today was great DH and I took our 3 year old niece to the Brookfield Zoo. It was a fun but a tiring experience. Everyone there was either pushing a stroller or was pregnant it was crazy. They had a dinosaur exhibit going on and had the names of the dinosaurs on a plaque and all I could think of was this site and all the women and their names because the dinosaurs had names like Allosaurus and the gift shop was named Shopasaur. At one point our niece was looking a little bored so when the dinosaurs would roar and move I would run and tell her they were chasing us and she got a kick out that. She was standing near one trying to get my attention to play the "run away" game and the dinosaur which was about 3 feet away from the fence roared and moved and she screamed (a real scream) and ran towards the hubby and I. The adults including us were laughing it was too cute. I imagine in her mind she saw something like this.

Source
Anyway, it was great to see DH interacting with our niece holding her on his shoulders and holding her hand as we walked around. I can't wait to see him as a father. Speaking of I am coming on my fertile days according to my chart. It says they started Sat but I think it was more like yesterday (Sunday) according to my CM. I took a OPK but it was negative but looks more dark than it did a couple of days ago so it might be this Tuesday. I can't seem to wake up the same time everyday though to take my temp. This morning I woke up in the middle of a nightmare and took my temp which said 97.9 which was way too high for what its been so I waited ten minutes just laying there and it went down back to 97.1. So we have been doing the baby dance the last few days and will continue for the next few so we'll see what happens.
