Keeping Myself Busy

Last week, I posted a funny list of things to do during your 2WW. But now, I'm going to post what I've actually been doing during my 2WW.

  • Cleaned the entire house top to bottom.
  • Ate an entire pineapple.
  • Bought 2 new workout dvds.
  • Done one of my new workout dvds every day.
  • Took long walks.
  • Baked some fabulous pumpkin bread, one of my specialties.
  • Made a batch of sugar cookies.
  • Made and decorated my nephew's birthday cake.
  • Did my best to draw a picture of a robot for my nephew's birthday.
  • Wrapped birthday presents.
  • Bought a few small Christmas presents.
  • Searched for the best Chicken Pot Pie recipe.
  • Made Mr. Joggersaur all his favorite meals.
  • Taken my pre-natal vitamin almost every day.
  • Tried to sleep, but I can't.
  • Had a weird pain in my butt... litterally.
  • Enrolled my hubby and I in new health care benefits.
  • Created our office Christmas Party invites.
  • Started putting together a cookie exchange for our office.
  • Carved a pumpkin.
  • Created a Facebook page for Mr. Joggersaur's new business.
  • Caught up on all my favorite shows on hulu.
  • BD because we wanted to... in the middle of the day.
  • Drew house plans for our dream house... in excel.
  • Tried not to analyze every little twinge in my body.
  • Fixed my hair different ways.
  • Spent a day on a pallet watching movies with Mr. Joggersaur.
  • Painted my nails orange.
  • Made goodie bags for my nephew's birthday party.

What do you do to keep yourself busy during your 2WW??

  1. That is a great list sounds like you have been really busy!

  2. Let's see, in my 2WWs I would...make moodboards for redecorating the house (even though I didn't have the money to actually do it lol)...reorganize our bookshelves...clean out my closet...give myself a manicure...try cooking new foods...and oh, tons of other things!

BTW, I'm impressed that you've already started buying Christmas gifts!

  3. Wow! You've been busy. I just wish I had that kind of energy!

  4. Hi, I just found this site today and think it is GREAT!! I started my 2WW the day you posted this entry, so only FIVE days ago (5dpo) and it is killing me already. This is also our first month TTC. I know I shouldn’t be getting my hopes up, but it sounds like you understand how difficult it is not too have high hopes.

During my first five days of the T double dub (2WW) I:
    Read one Huge pregnancy book
    Read one relationship book
Assembled three do it yourself picture frames and hung the artwork
Dog sat a friends dog (plus took care of my two)
    Bought and carved pumpkins
Read tons of internet conception and pregnancy info
Missed my DH (he’s out of town for work :( )
Bought tons of HPTs and OPKs (both as not to jinx myself)
Looked at the calendar with my chart/cycle info 2 million times (okay maybe not 2,000,000 times, but A LOT)
    Took my prenatal vitamins everyday
Ate lots of fruits, veggies, yogurt, and chicken
Spent nearly every second thinking “Am I?” “Please Please let me be!” “I think I am.” “What if I am?” “What if I’m not”…
