Hey, Hey Jealousy

I admit... I've been bit by the green eyed monster.

Jealousy.

source

Last Friday, my friend S had her baby. On Sunday, we found out another couple friend of ours is expecting. And another friend is due any day now. All of which the women 'weren't trying' or 'weren't ready' or the 'timing was off' when they found out their news.

And here I am waiting to find out if we will get a BFP, or be visited by AF.

Trying not to be jealous of their little miracles... or secretly hate my friends for getting pregnant before me.

Here we are with open minds and hearts waiting for our little miracle.

We don't care if the timing is right, or how ready we are.

My head wants to believe that it will happen when the time is right, but my heart is yearning to be a mommy... to make my husband a daddy.

Please tell me I'm not alone in this!!!

  1. I'm in the same boat! A friend of mine went to the doctor for an IUD and found out she was pregnant and they have a 4 1/2 month old at home! How's that for timing, while my husband and I are sitting on day 43 of my cylce with only a BFN!

    Your not alone,
    Kristy

  2. You are so not alone! It is amazing how many women I know that are pregnant. Especially the "oops" or "fertile mertiles". It is a lot to swallow, but that is their journey and their time. OURS WILL COME!!!

  4. You are not alone! I feel the same way. It's really hard to not be jealous when friends of ours get pregnant "without trying" or tell us "it was a surprise!". Very hard.

  5. I think at some point every women that is TTC for more than one cycle feels this way. It is really hard to be surrounded by pregnant friends. I hope your BFP comes soon!

  7. Totally get this post and can totally relate!! In my group of friends I am literally the only one "kidless". It is so hard to all get togeher and hear nothing but "my baby does this" "during my pregnancy" blah blah blah. I try to be the supportive friend and I am truly excited for them but it's frustrating to listen to it all!

  8. I completely understand. My BFF and I always thought we'd be pregnancy buddies, but now she's 7 months pregnant, and I'm still waiting. Sometimes I don't even want to SEE her! It's so hard to watch her experience what I long for. :( But the other ladies are right: have faith, and hold on to hope.

    Our time will come!
