Well, AF is still not here. According to the date of my last period, 5/20, AF should have been here around 6/17 but she still hasn't come. I took another HPT a few days ago and it was negative, so I really don't understand what's going on here. What I'm wondering is how long I should wait before calling the doctor? Since it is my first month off BCP, I'm not surprised she's acting up, but how long is too long?
Any thoughts?

I've never had this happen, so I'm not sure how long is too long. I wonder if the doc would even be able to tell you anything, or they would just tell you to keep waiting.

I'd probably wait until it's two full weeks overdue, then call your doc - they might tell you just to wait longer, or might give you something to kickstart AF (although I'm not sure they'd want to do that since you *just* came off BCP).
ReplyDeleteMost docs say wait 60 days for AF after going off BCP before calling for an appt. Hopefully yours wills how before then. It can take the body a long time to regulate after being on BC, so try to be patient. GL!
